Resources for the Different Stages of Entrepreneurship – Part 2

Last week we discussed the different resources available to the first two stages of Small Business – Thinking of Entrepreneurship and Starting Your Small Business.  This week, we will focus on the third stage of small business – Growing Your Business.

The Halton Region Small Business Centre can provide resources and tools to help your emerging business grow.

Growing Your Business

Traits of successful growing companies include determination and resilience, willingness to innovate, passion for growth and the ability to execute timely strategies. If your company has these qualities you are on your road to successful growth.

Our business consultants are available to meet with you at this stage of your business to discuss issues you may have in areas including hiring employees, expanding your markets, and increasing your customer base.

In addition, our Access to Professional Program can connect you with a local professional for a free 45 minute consultation.  Professionals in our group include lawyers, accountants, marketing, human resource and e-business coaches.

Our annual educational event for existing small businesses – Bridges to Better Business is scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2011.  This upcoming event will focus on Marketing Strategies for Success and will have a keynote presentation, roundtable discussions and break-out sessions on various marketing elements.

For additional in-depth information on a variety of “growing” topics, plan to attend one of the many seminars and events we host throughout the year.
